I loved that book, too.
I'm sort of ashamed that it's taken me so long to get to: I wish I'd read it earlier. It's got me thinking that I'll add more of his work to my e. list.
By the way: one of my areas is the post-modern historical novel--any recommendations outside of the ones that appear on the core?
